Cinderblades Notes and Tips in Salt and Sacrifice

  • At 40 Dexterity, this weapon has an attack rating of 51.8 when maxed out.
  • This weapon does not deal direct fire damage. Instead, each hit applies fire buildup on the enemy, which stacks.
    • This makes it ideal against blocking enemies, since status buildup bypasses block altogether.
  • Empyric testing shows the following results (PvP):
    • The daggers deal more damage if they hit a target that is not blocking. The damage difference is approximately 15% on average.
    • Fire Defense matters to reduce the damage from the Fire DoT, even while blocking.
    • Perfect Blocking or "parrying" does nullify the DoT, but only if the Perfect Block happens on the Dagger Thrower's side. This makes fighting players who use this weapon with high latency extremely risky, and thus attempting to  Perfect Block this weapon is discouraged.
