Crawling Amulet Tips & Builds

  • Increases the speed in which the player climbs ledges and performs the Grappling Hook animation by approximately 50%.
    • The grappling hook speed increase can lead to some unintended interactions in the enviroment, such as not being able to reach properly some specific platforms.
      • While nothing gamebreaking or irremediable happens because of this, it's still worth noting just in case.
  • If the player has this Amulet equipped and they use the Grappling Hook dagger counterattack on a stunned mage, that animation will also have its speed increased.
    • Because of this, an unintended side effect is that you can get an extremely short moment to perform a dagger counterattack on the mage when you land on the ground next to it. When you land after performing the hook counterattack, immediately press the interact button (default "C" on PC) while looking at the mage. This works on most mages, with some rare exceptions.
      • One can use this tactic with the Celestial Point dagger to give the stunned mage massive damage in a short window.
      • The two dagger counters (hook + ground) can be performed reliably on multiplayer without the need of this amulet. One player simply needs to perform the hook counterattack, while the other stands on the ground next to the mage. As soon as the hook counterattack is finished, the other player can spam the button to immediately perform a dagger counterattack.
