Essence of Fire is a Key Item item in Salt and Sacrifice. Key Items are known as main important items that are necessary to progress. These Key Items include objects such as Keys and Items for Quests. These grant users access to next locations allowing them to move further within the game. They can be obtained through drops or found throughout the different Locations.

Essence of Fire is used to unlock, together with the Essence of Sky, all of the Imperfect Shrine gates at Elder Copse, allowing you to advance further in the game.

Where to Find Essence of Fire in Salt and Sacrifice
Essence of Fire is found in Elder Copse after fighting The Worm That Does Not Die. Once you have defeated the Boss and collected your loot, head out through the archway in the east of his arena to a small room with a Treasure Pouch. Loot the pouch to obtain the Essence of Fire.
