Gavel of Judgment is a Greathammer in Salt and Sacrifice. Gavel of Judgment scales primarily with Strength. Greathammers are Melee Weapons that can be used to inflict damage on hostile characters and provides defense against Enemies and Bosses. They may possess Runic Arts unlike Ranged Weapons which don't.
A divine greathammer wielded by priest errants of Haradustus. It is said that one weighed down by sin will find the weapon impossible to heft. This may explain why there are so few wielding it..

Mage bane. Do not worry about "Strength: D" - cheap "Focused Divinity" will increase your dmg to +50%
Not to mention "Ethereal Guardians" - but this requires heavy investment...

Stupidly effective. Only disappointing part about this hammer is the "divine mace" runic art for being too slow.

Requires some build investment but the tier 5 Runic Art can do a lot of damage to bosses once they're standing and fighting, not worth using on Mages until they stand and fight though
Best greathammer in the game. After you get it, you just steamroll through the whole game and then you swap for one of the class 5 greathammers.
