Howling Metal is a Runic Art in Salt and Sacrifice. Howling Metal allows players to increase the sharpness of your blade, can be found in Mistral and Two Elegies. It requires Class 1 Glyphreader or Class 1 Banereader and spends Rage in order to be cast. Runic Arts are unique abilities that some weapons possess, they provide diverse tools to players that can be used to harm Enemies or buff allies and may require certain levels in Banereader or Glyphreader in order to be cast.

Notes and Tips
- On use it will boost damage by 50% and create a damaging field around the user. Great for a quick tick of damage and for powering up before entering an arena. The damaging blast of wind around the user seems to deal more poise damage than a standard light attack but the exact amount will require more testing.
