A brittle piece of Salt, the substance formed when unknowable celestial energy falls from its perch. Crush it to gain experience.

Salt Piece is a Consumable item in Salt and Sacrifice. Consumables are known as pershiable items with limited uses, usually consumed to gain temporary buffs and benefits or replenish any lost stats. These items will stack up in the inventory. Once used, players will gain its effects and the item may deplete. Items classified as consumables include food items, bombs and potions. These items are usually obtained from either enemy drops, picked up from bushes and shrubs, found in various locations in chests when looting, or obtained from other NPCs. Replenish health and focus, consumables and materials at an Obelisk.

Salt Pieces yield 1,000 Salt each upon consumption.

Where to Find Salt Piece in Salt and Sacrifice

Salt Piece can be randomly found inside Treasure Satchels and Bags of Supplies throughout the game.
Salt Piece can also be bought from Shopkeeper Arnald for 4000 Silver Pieces each.

You can find one Salt Piece in Dreadstone Peak. After defeating Zyzak Zuun, The Curse-Riddle Mind in the Temple of Eleven, unseal the door to the left of that same area. Traverse the Temple's upper-western balcony until you find a Mage Distortion where the hunt for Zaruman Tam, The Wraith Temporal is initiated. Instead of beginning the hunt, drop to the ledges below and to the left of the balcony. The Treasure Pouch on one of the ledges contains an Exotic Strand as well as a Salt Piece.

There's another one in the Old Annex, Dreadstone Peak. Head east from the hunt's start point and drop down the narrow chute. There is a Treasure Pouch in the next section that contains a Salt Piece.
