Serpent Fangs Notes and Tips in Salt and Sacrifice

  • These thrown daggers deals no direct damage on hit. Instead, each dagger applies poison buildup on the target. Once enough poison buildup has been applied, the enemy will be poisoned with the status effect, receiving a DOT effect over a large period of time. This usually takes 3 daggers on almost every enemy.
    • Once an enemy is poisoned, the player can keep applying poison buildup on the enemy. This makes the DOT effect much stronger, significantly increasing its lethality on strong, healthier enemies.
    • Because status effects cannot be blocked, this weapon can take out enemies at a distance who are prone to blocking projectiles. The user can simply fire at the target until the poison triggers and let it die.
  • At 40 Dexterity, this weapon has an attack rating of 55.5 when maxed out.

Lets hope poison is a bit more balanced this time around. Watching enemies and bosses melt gets boring after a few playthroughs.
