Where to Find Steel Key in Salt and Sacrifice
Steel Key is found above the Mage corpse that initiates the hunt for Nix Ocifiris in a small platforming section of the Bol Gerahn's Temple. Wall jump to the wooden platforms above and make your way across the crumbling platforms towards the left, where you'll find a Treasure Pouch containing the Steel Key.

This key is used to open a door that leads to the npc that unlocks the shroud invasion faction hunt. It's located almost at the top of the Tomb Temple of Bol Gerahn.
