Strategy Writeup

The Tireless Exalted will primarily attack with melee strikes which are easily avoided by hugging his legs or rolling behind him. His attacks are not particularly fast but they have little recovery time. Use single hits between his attacks to consistently deal damage. Periodically, he will summon his wraiths which don't do much damage on their own, but they can stagger you and set you up for one of his hard-hitting melee moves. When he is summoning the wraiths, take the opportunity to attack him a few times but get ready to dodge as they spawn in.

Once his HP reaches 50%, his Staff Slam move becomes much more dangerous, summoning a number of small homing projectiles that move really fast and have excellent tracking. You may need to use a combination of rolls and jumps to avoid them. Aside from that, this isn't a terribly complicated fight.

Attacks & Counters

Attack Counter
Wraith Call The Exalted summons 3 wraiths from his lantern which home in on the player and inflict a death debuff when hit. The wraiths can be dodged through or jumped over if they are low enough but they have a staggered release and players should be on the move when the spell is cast, ready to avoid the wraiths. Note that he can lift the lantern either in front of him or up at this side. Neither animation seems to provide a difference in the attack.
Lantern Bash The Exalted swings his lantern downwards in front of him, pummeling anything in its path. The impact point is slightly ahead of his legs and sticking close to them is relatively safe.
Staff Smash The Exalted raises his staff up high and then swings it downward in front of him. This attack has a very long reach but the area in front of his legs is safe.
Staff Slam The Exalted slams the butt of his staff on the ground in front of him, sending a dust shooting outward a short distance from the impact point. The area between the staff's impact point and his legs is safe. Below 50% HP, the staff releases several small projectiles that home in on the player.

I like the game so far but this boss is garbage. At the end of his health bar, he’ll do his one shot arrack 3 or 4 times in a row. Plus some of his hit boxes are nonsensical and it’s just kind of too dark and hard to see what’s going on.

This boss will kill me with its staff slam/homing bolt attack every time, through a dodge. It will appear that I've dodged it and the status meter will be no more than 2/3 full, and then as I exit the dodge roll suddenly I'm dead. It's as if the hit box for every particle covers the whole screen and they all hit me at once as soon as the iframes end. Sometimed the particles will almost all have disappeared and I'll still die somehow. It feels bugged tbh, and if it is working as intended then the mechanics need to be made much clearer to the player so I don't feel like I'm doing what I'm supposed to and still getting killed. I'll beat it I'm sure, as I've got it to <10% health a couple of times, but it just feels like I'll win due to rng with that attack and not my own skill.

okay just beat him and at this point of this game i feel like the green huntsman is the best boss in this game and this game is good but theres so many annoying stuff that i absolutely hate and the bugs or possibly just the game expecting at 6 hearts me going to the ashen castle or whatever that upper area in ashborne village is to farm mages its been like 4 months or 6 how is this not fixed yet

okay just block or parry the attacks and at all cost avoide the skulls or the spells he cast

block and parry are the same thing

This boss is the first giant design flaw plays may encounter in this game.

                1. Now it summons 4 wraths instead of 3, so it’s possible that you’ll instant die if you get hit by all 4 in one round.
                2. Not sure it’s a design flaw or bug: if you stand close to the arena edge, shoot bow or spells, wraths can be summoned outside of the screen and instantly kill you without you even knowing what’s going on.
                3. The biggest design flaw: it can ragdoll you with staff bash and then death wisp combo, so one dodge miss and you’ll be instant killed.

What was difficult to make a stone near the boss? why after the boss I have to die 2 times from ****ing arrows and lose 9 thousand salt?

I believe when i fought him you can block some of the damage of the insta kill status effect when it triggers thus causing it not to instant kill you. I also found if you a hp potion when the condition triggers you can heal hp back when it was sopost to kill you and you don't die these were the only reason i was able to kill this boss.

This guy isn't hard, he's just cheap. Mess up one block or dodge after his staff slam starts shooting tracking projectiles, die and restart the fight.
