Codex Rod is a Channeling Rod in Salt and Sacrifice. Codex Rod scales primarily with Arcana. Channeling Rods are Ranged Weapons that can be used to inflict damage on hostile characters from afar and with great potential to break guard. They grant no guard protection, encouraging users to maintain distance from advancing enemies.

A catalyzing rod bearing rune-covered vellum and a bag of sage's dust. The dust is activated by the runes on the vellum, producing a bolt of runic energy.
