Rotwood Bow Notes and Tips in Salt and Sacrifice

  • At 40 Dexterity, this weapon has an attack rating of 72 when maxed out.
  • This weapon does not deal direct damage. Instead, when the arrow hits an enemy, it explodes into a small cloud of blight, applying blight buildup.
    • This weapon is good against big, immobile bosses, as they can remain longer in the blight clouds, increasing potential damage.

In PVE this weapon is useless.

It does no direct damage and on most enemies the proc takes way too long and way too many arrows.

The dot damage is slightly better than posion per tick but does not last long enough to be useful.

Many enemies seem to be completely immune to the rot effect.

      Save yourself the trouble.

Never used it in PvP.. Got it after the nerf thinking I would replace the goldenlight bow.. On paper rotwood bow should be better but it's crap AF. No hit damage, waiting for the clouds to proc is.. uh.. Tried it on boss (Marega Gredanya).. Still crap compared to goldenlight ;/

Honestly after getting all the gear I think the shroud peeps will calm down with it. Least I hope. Building into it now just to counter them

Bow seems to have a cloud effect on hit. In pvp it will continuously stun whoevery is in the could and also deal damage. Combine that with the rapid fire of bows = easy shroud medals
