Lore for Salt and Sacrifice is shared with its predecessor, Salt and Sanctuary. Salt still remains as its currency, but not much is shared beyond that. Salt and Sacrifice is set in the Altarstone Kingdom, where peace has been threatened by the arrival of “Mages”. Your character is now a Marked Inquisitor, a criminal who has agreed to serve in the war against Mages in exchange for their life. Mages are magical and powerful entities that seem to have once been human, but became consumed and obsessed with their power and now roam the world and summon aggressive minions, leaving devastation in their wake. Your task as an Inquisitor is to hunt down these powerful Mages, eliminate them, devour their heart, and make their power your own. Doing this will make you more powerful enabling you to seek and destroy the elite among the mages that threaten the Altarstone Kingdom.

Judging by the passage of time in Scale River Mill, and how the term is used, I think the word "Hexad" is their version of a week. Probably a 6 day period.
I hope this is the correct format for these. The only one that's finished is the Toll of the Bitter Chime but I'll keep updating them as I go.
