Upgrades for Salt and Sacrifice contain information regarding Upgrades for the player's arsenal. Players can upgrade their Weapon and Armor by visiting the Enhance Equipment table located on the west part of Pardoner's Vale, next to the crafting table. Hunter Tools can also be upgraded to increase their maximum capacity. By upgrading a piece of equipment, players can further strengthen the offensive capabilities of Weapons and the defensive capabilities of Armor.

Weapon and Armor Upgrades
Weapons and Armor pieces can be upgraded up to +10 by using Upgrade Materials called Ashpyrs. The amount and type of Ashpyrs required will depend on the Weapon/Armor type and level.
Weapon Upgrades
Weapons can be upgraded at the Enhance Equipment table located on the west part of Pardoner's Vale. Upgrading a Weapon will only increase it's damage, and will have no impact on the Runic Arts effect.
Armor Upgrades
Upgrading an armor piece will increase it's Defensive Stats, but it won't modify the armor Weight or Poise stats.
You can see the current level of a Weapon or Armor by checking the symbol located on the bottom left corner of Equipment Icon. Some Most equipment pieces start al level 0, but some of them can start at higher levels when crafted or dropped, but they'll still be capped at +10.

Upgrade Materials
As previously mentioned, you'll need Upgrade Materials called Ashpyrs in order to perform your upgrades. Ashpyrs can be acquired by Slaying Mages and their minion, found inside chest or crates, or acquired as rewards for completing Missionss.
Asphpyrs are hard to comeby, and you'll require a significant amount in order to max out your equipment. Fated Hunts (Daily Missions) are the most reliable way of farming these.

Hunter Tools
Hunter Tools special Consumable Items that players can craft while exploring by using materials. In order to unlock a Hunter Tool, you'll first need to bring it's related Material to Verdantvoice Trista, who can be found at the East part of Pardoner's Vale.
You can Upgrade your Hunter Tools by interacting with the Hunter Tool Table that's right next to Verdantvoice Trista. Upgrading your Hunter Tools will increase the maximum amount of Consumables of that particular type that you can carry at the same time but it won't increase their efficiency.
