Ammunition is a Consumable item in Salt and Sacrifice. Consumables are known as perishable items with limited uses, usually consumed to gain temporary buffs and benefits or replenish any lost stats. These items will stack up in the inventory. Once used, players will gain its effects and the item may deplete. Items classified as consumables include food items, bombs and potions. These items are usually obtained from either enemy drops, picked up from bushes and shrubs, found in various locations in chests when looting, or obtained from other NPCs. Replenish health and focus, consumables and materials at an Obelisk.

Salt and Sacrifice Ammunition Upgrades
Ammunition can be upgraded at the Enhance Equipment table located on the west part of Pardoner's Vale.
The materials needed to upgrade Ammunition are:
Note that upgrading a Weapon will only increase its damage, and will have no impact on the Runic Arts effect.
Where to Find Ammunition in Salt and Sacrifice
All Classes start the game with Ammunition in their Inventory.

AnonymousI'd like to note that there is an Exotic Strand in The Mire just to the right of the Obelisk in the great tree before the boss fight. Go through the door to the Right and hop across the gap and jump down for the missing Exotic Strand.
Can I change the default ammunition for something else since it has its own slot in the inventory menu?
