A soft square of cloth, embroidered with darkness itself, moist with the substance of wicked whispers made manifest. Can be used to coat an equipped mundane weapon with a cursed substance, causing it to build death curse in foes for a short time.

Nochea Tarcloth is a special Consumable item in Salt and Sacrifice. Unlike common consumables, this item can be used repeatedly so as long as the player has the required crafting material to use them.

Nochea Tarcloth Tips & Builds

• Consumes 2 ammunition per use.
• Lasts 15 seconds.
• When used, imbues the player's weapon with Dark, allowing each hit done to cause Death Curse buildup. When the status buildup "exceeds the target's max status resistance" (henceforth referred as triggering), a Dark DoT effect is added to the target over a period of 1 second.
  • This is the only way the player has to build the Death Curse status without using Runic Arts. It also takes several hits to trigger.
    
    • The player can keep applying this buildup once it triggers, piling up the damage constantly, but it can be hard to do so without a very fast weapon, such as Twindaggers.
  • The amount of damage caused on each trigger is entirely dependant of the weapon's damage on hit.
    • This causes strong attacks to add more damage caused to the trigger.
