Namekeeper Merchant Location in Salt and Sacrifice
- The Namekeeper Merchant can be found at the upper left part of Ashpeak Castle, in Ashbourne Village.
- The player must devour at least the hearts of 4 Named Mages to gain access to the castle. Aditionally, to reach where he is, the player must use the Magnesin Pulleys scattered through the left part of the castle. This makes him accesible only after the player has obtained the Magnesin Supply in Bol Gerahn.
- This NPC moves to Pardoner's Vale once a Nameless Mage has been devoured, he has been spoken to, and the player selects "Yes" in their dialogue. He can be found just above the nearest grappling hook to the right near the spawn point.

Quest and Details related to The Namekeeper Merchant in Salt and Sacrifice
- To obtain the related Nameless Tokens, the player must kill the Nameless variants of the bosses fought through the game.
- To unlock said Nameless Bosses, the player must find and interact with the special objects located through the area in which they reside.
Salt and Sacrifice Namekeeper Merchant Notes & Trivia
- Most of the special consumables that he sells consume ammunition.
- Some others, however, cause health loss upon use in exchange for something else, such as Rage or Focus.
- The player does not need to kill a specific Nameless Mage to obtain a consumable they desire. As long as they have a Nameless Token and have killed the appropiate Named Mage, they can purchase the respective consumable.
- This allows the player to complete the easier Nameless Mage Hunts first, and save up Nameless Tokens for the consumables that can show up later.
Dialogue
Ashpeak Castle Encounter:
What's this? A lost Inquisitor comes to my corner?
You've hunted Mages with names, but have you devoured any of the Nameless?
... (Only available if the player has not devoured any Nameless Mages):
Find a Nameless Mage. Pursue it. Devour it.
Then return to me.
No:
The Nameless Mages have left their mark all over Ossenleigh Valley.
Devour one and return to me.
Yes (Available once the player has devoured at least one Nameless Mage):
Wonderful.
The Mages that shed their names are those that plunges themselves farther into madness.
But there are treasures in this madness, and I posses many of them.
I shall return to Pardoner's Vale. Find me there.
Subsequent conversations:
I shall return to Pardoner's Vale. Find me there.
Pardoner's Vale
Upon talking to him:
Hello, [Player].
Selecting the "Talk" option the first time:
There is such mystery in names, is there not?
Those Sylvans that become Mages sometimes choose new names, sometimes retain their old.
Varren Ovrin kepr her Sylvan name. Nephael Mos did not.
Selecting the "Talk" option the second time:
Many Mages roam so long that they begin to lose what made them Sylvan in the first place.
Their names, their minds...
Most Mages do not follow the path of Magic out of contempt for their fellow Sylvan.
And some do, like Ghor Lorhotha, Wearer of Tortured Flesh.
Selecting the "Talk" option the third time:
I possess a number of interesting items associated with Nameless Mages.
I'm quite happy to share them with you, for a price.
Not just silver, mind you, but proof of a Nameless Mage devoured.
Subsequent "Talk" dialogue:
Bring me Nameless Tokens, [Player].
When leaving him:
Farewell, [Player].
